It’s Good Information

Well I had been involved with Network Marketing for about 3 years and despite being a complete addict, packing in my full time job and putting all my effort into building a big team; doing what my credible upline told me to do, I have never been able to make it pay. Why does it not work I asked? “DONT CHANGE ANY THING. JUST FOLLOW THE SYSTEM AND IT WILL WORK FOR YOU TOO” Sound familiar? It doesn’t matter what network you are in, we are all told to follow the system. But times are changing The system is not working in today’s informed society.

Who wrote the system? Where did it come from? How old is it? Do you know? I don’t. It is OK saying it has worked for us, so it will work for you. What worked 10 years, 5 years or even 2 years ago is not working now! We all know it isn’t, but we are not allowed to say. “You must not be negative”. Yes I know! I to have read the recommended Network Marketing books too - Attitude is Everything. (Jeff Keller) Think and Grow Rich (Napoleon Hill) Fantastic books just to name a few, I have shelves of them, but they don’t pay the bills.

No matter what network marketing business or system you are following, if you do not bring good people into your business, then your business just isn’t going to grow.

HOW DO WE RECRUIT GOOD NETWORK MARKETING PEOPLE?

When I started network marketing, I thought what we were taught was completely unique, training that just applied to the network company I was working for. Things like

3ft Rule

Warm Market

Car Cards

Flyers

Newspaper Ads

Lampost Posters

& so on

I did all these tasks relentlessly. I got leads, but people did not join or if they did they tended to quit. Why You ask? What were you doing wrong? I asked my sponsor. “JUST KEEP DOING WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT, FOLLOW THE SYSTEM” It was because most people were just inquisitive as to what it was, they were not particularly looking for an opportunity nor were they wanting to join my network, it was, as with most network marketing companies the fact that our flyer’s/ advertisement’s did not say the name of the company we were working for, or what it was, it just promised large income opportunities. This to me is why the system no longer works

We live in a 24hr, 7 day a week informed society. Never has so many people had access to so much information. The Internet has revolutionised the decision making process. If we want to know something we look on the Internet. A job, look on the Internet. If a leaflet comes through the door advertising an opportunity, then we want to know what it is. We want to know the name of the company so that we can find out who they are and what it is they do. If you are like me I have a look at different forums to see if I can get other peoples views on companies and products, so that I can make a more informed decision

WHERE DO I LOOK - ON THE INTERNET of course, as do millions of other people.
